Sarah Burton reveals: The label Alexander McQueen undergoes a change

Years Sarah Burton was the assistent of Alexander McQueen. Now Sarah Burton is the chief designer of his label. In her first interview that she gave after her new appointment she let us know that the fashion by McQueen is going to be lighter. The characteristc darkness is going to disappear. According to her there always has to be darkness, otherwise you won’t accept the light.

Also Burton is not planning to compete with the frantic and theatrical shows of her beloved friend Alexander. ‘That was something Lee love to do. I can’t pretend I’m him ’

The first womenswear collection of Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen is going to make her debut on the 5th of October.

I read something funny in the newspaper. It seems that Manolo Blahnik saves marriage.
Manolo Blahnik has proclaimed that his shoes have saved couples from marital trouble.

"The male reaction to heels is half normal and half perversion, but some men tell me I've saved their marriage," he says. "The first thing men look at are a woman's legs, and there is nothing more flattering than high heels."

So when you have trouble with your boyfriend buy a pair of Manolo Blahnik. It is a good excuse.
