In London they showed their spring/summer 2012 collection. No doubt that the Roaring Twenties are the favorite era of Spijkers en Spijkers. They have picked up this period before as a source of inspiration. Spijkers en Spijkers were not the only one in this for next summer in New York there were more designers who were influenced by this period. For example Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren and Tory Burch.
Spijkers en Spijkers took the silhouette and used their signature geometric. They played with colors and add some blakc and white. In this collection you see a lot dresses and loose pantsuits. Also you see a lot stars weaves in some designs.
There is an exhibition with some work of them in a Dutch museum. In about two weeks I will visit the exhibition with my mother. So keep an eye on my blog to see more of Spijkers en Spijkers.
