Dries Van Noten Spring Summer 2012

A wonderful collection, that is my opinion about the collection of Dries van Noten. It was build around various themes. The photoprints of nature, laves, flowers and trees were very strong in this collection. It looked as if the designer copy-pasted parts of all the images into one print. Also the old couture, regarding the tailored trousers, pleates and drop-waisted dresses and tunics. But the photoprints are very unique in this collection. I think it gave a contemporary character to classics like skirts, dresses and mens shirts. In this collection you can see some color now and then. But black and white are still the favorite.
