The Day Before...

Besides books and magazines also documentaries can inspire me. I bought a DVD box with four dvd's about world famous fashion houses: Fendi by Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi, Jean Paul Gaultier Couture, Sonia Rykiel and Proenza Schouler from Jack Mc Collough and Lazaro Hernandez. They were all filmed on the critical point in their creative lives, the day before the fashion show. Stress, craftsmanship and new ideas are the keywords in the world of luxury fashion.

Loïc Prigents, also known for the documentarie Signé Chanel, has the exception for an exclusive access to the studios, the PR and marketing companies and did not miss a second of what is happening behind the scenes of the famous fashion houses. It is a challenge to the clock, the whole day and often also the night before the big show!
