When I first saw this shoes I didn't know if I like or hate them. After seeing them a few times I think I really like them. Leather and wood looks good together, especially when Alain Quilici designs the shoes. A Italian shoemaker that knows the tradition of making beautiful, quality pieces is well ingrained. The ankle length calf mud leather is touched with Victorian laces and stands five inches tall on a carved wooden heel. Unfortunately the shoes are pretty expensive $1,180. But in life you have to have some to dream about.
