Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty

Most of us have to wait for Alexander McQueen's retrospective, 'Savage Beauty' at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute to open on May 4th in New York. But one of the icons in the fashion industry Anna Wintour have blesses us with a sneakpeak. The Vogue editor hosted a preview event at the Ritz in New York yesterday morning that was attented by Sarah Burton.
The pieces that were photographed for the exhibit catalogue by Sølve Sundsbø used live models who were digitally altered to look like mannequins. This gives the clothing movement. It looks absolutely incredible and I am thinking about buying a ticket to New York to see it in real life.

Alexander McQueen still is one of my favorite designers and I love this photos. They really inspire me and I hope they will also inspire you!

Lady Gaga really is my favorite singer. I just love her songs and her style also attracks me. She is slowly taking over the world. Her number 1 single Born This Way scores the 1000th Billboard’s.
She is on the magazine cover that is shot by Mariano Vivanco and styled by her own stylist Nicola Formichetti. Her black latex coat is from Mugler. I just want to share this cover with you because I love Gaga and I love this cover.

Mila For W Magazine

I have never noticed Mila Kunis until I saw her this week in a beautiful editorial that I would like to share with you. In the March issue of W Magazine Mila featured as a model. In a Chanel silk tulle, organza coat with feather collar and sleeves. An Eres silk bra she looks amazing.

Attracted To Men Shoes

Usually I don’t post men shoes but for Christian Louboutin I would like to make an exception. He designed an exclusive collection for Gobel’s Fall/Winter 2011 during the New York Fashion Week. To complete the line has the Loutoutin’s motifs from hybrid gold colored spiked slippers and calmer nude suede slippers. I really like these shes and I am sad that they aren’t in my size.

Swedish fashion brand Minimarket shots for their Spring Summer 2011 lookbook. The Brand focus on the products with very minimal propositions. I really love the settings of the photos and how they got the attention of the products.

Make a wish that is the statement of Bettina Nissen. She interprets that special moment of happines when you blow out the candles on your birthday. The for everyone know cake candle is transformed into a piece of jewelry. Instead of the candle on your birthday pie it is on your finger. Filippa K Knows What Style Is

The Swedish brand Filippa K. shows a clean and structured collection.

The collection contains a lot of calm colors like camel, black and old pink.

However the most fabrics were smooth, Filippa K also choose a print this season.

I think this collection is very clean and basic with a little unique touch. Can’t wait until this collection hit the stores. I definitely want to try the black leather jacket on.

This month you can see a very bright Bette Franke in the Italian Marie Claire. She is photographed by David Slijper. I have to say the smokey eyes, deeply rouged cheeks and widly romantic hair are the opposit comparing to her ivory skin and white eyebrows. She has an unique face and in this shoot they put it to a higher level.
