Brand: Ellery

Last week I was searching on the internet for some inspiration for my blog. I discovered a brand named Ellery. This brand is founded by Ellery. She was born into a creative household. She grew up surrounded by the art of her mother.

After she succeeded her certificate of Fashion Design in Perth, Ellery made her way over to London. She studied at the known Central St. Martins. After that she worked at Russh magazine for 4 years. She worked together with Kym. Kym was very impressed by her and helped her created her label Ellery.

Editorial coverage of Ellery has gone from strength to strength, thrusting the label to the elite end of Australian designers.

Ellery is dressing some of the worlds top models and extremely influential Australian woman.

ACNE Capsule Collection

One brand that I really love because of their unique shapes and amazing shoes. But also their basics are my style. I am talking about the brand Acne and their Capsule Collection. It contains luxe basics like white silk blouses and a lot of striped items.

Trend: In His Shirt

For me wearing a men’s shirt is more comfortable than wearing a dress. I think that Dries van Noten, Stella McCarney and Viktor & Rolf for example really pull it of in their summer collection.

In my eyes a men’s shirt doesn’t need any extra’s. It is perfect just the way it is. And I think every woman should have a elegant basic piece of a shirt.

Sleep Elevations

The thing about fashion that I really love are the photos that photographers make of collections and for editorials. They really inspire me.
I jumped into this photos serie from French artist Maia Flore. She made wonderful photos full of dreams and magical things. It is called Sleep Elevations. It has not very much to do with fashion, but I love these photos and the style of it. Therefore I want to share it with you, hope you like it just as much as I do.

Doo.Ri Do Something Different

I have never heard about the brand Doo.Ri before but when I saw this video I decided to share it with you.
In this video they show their second line UNDER.LIGNE. I really love the idea that they made a video of the collection. The movie is shot by Christopher Starbody, model Tasha Franken is showing the collection of this fall.

Your Phone As An Accessory

For my it is a thing that I can't live without and I have to admit I am a little addicted to it; my iPhone.
I think a lot of people are using their phone as a kind of an accessory. On the street you also see a lot of people holding their phone close to them
Yesterday I was really inspired by these photos and I want them to show you.

Carine Shows Her Natural Side

When I saw this photo I was absolutely in love with the face of Carine Roitfeld, shot by Karl Lagerfeld. She is so nature on this photos. When she was the head in chief of the French Vogue I was also inspired of her sense of style.
This photos also reminds me of the post I early wrote about lace masks.

Dreamy Photos By Nick Knight

Always known for giving his own unique spin on fashion and also featured on my special week, Nick Knight. He offers a dreamy interpretation of the spring collection. In this editorial you see model Ming Xi and it is styled by Jonathan Kaye. I am a huge fan of these photos and the effects in it.

ILFN Party

The ILFN bicycle
Last friday I was invited to the ilovefashionnews.nl party in Amsterdam. ILFN is a Dutch site with daily fashion news. I look every day on the site for the new fashion articles. I really love the fact that they update their site with lovely fashion facts. Also I want to thank Annic van Wonderen, founder of ILFN, for her wonderful party. And I love to have met her in real life.

Their party was because ILFN exists two years, their new office and they were going to launch a bicycle. Dutch International fashion blogger Sabrina from AfterDrk received the first bicycle.

In the bicycle they processed their famous heart in it.
