My Holiday In New York City

The last ten days I spent in New York. And I have to say I really love this city. The people are very friendly, the stores are amazing just like the food and the buildings are also great to look at. During my trip I saw all the famous things in New York like the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Fifth Avenue and MET. But we also visited things that are also nice to see like Little Italy, China Town, Ellis Island, Top of the Rock, the exhibition from Alexander McQueen, Fashion Avenue, Macy’s, Lion King and Ground Zero.

Today I want to share my favorite photos with you. Hope you like them. This week I also will share something about the exhibition of Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty.

Freja Beha Erichsen

A model that I love for her natural beauty is Freja Beha Erichsen. She has a beautiful style, from a rock chick till a girly girl. Every look looks amazing on her. I have selected a few photos that really inspires me. Hope you like them too and what do you think of Freja?

Acne Resort Collection

Acne showed in New York a culture clask for it’s Resort collection: a downtown young jeans girl. This are the words of creative director Jonny Johansson. The place were the presentation was held is very relevant for these words.

The collection is all about the contradictions and different combinations. Combine things that are mismatch to get a energetic and inspiring effect. Denim and cotton together with taffeta, brocade and silk with a lot of soft colors.

Maison Martin Margiela Couture Collection

The fall 2011 couture collection Maison Martin Margiela is worn by models with obscured faces. It features a transformation of vintagesilhouettes with unusual materials.  Ducktape, PVC, jackets and blazers made from camel hair. I have to admit that Ireally like this collection, it has a special something.

Crystalline

First I didn’t know what to think of this editorial. But when I watched it for a while I kinda love it. The August edition of Dazed & Confused delivers a large dosage of energy and color. It is a wondrous story starring Kinga Rajzak. She shows some dynamic moves in looks from Louis Vuitton, Gucci and many others.
