PFW: Alexander McQueen

On Tuesday it was time for the new collection from Alexander McQueen. Sarah Burton really came with her own thing with this collection/ You see volumious mushroom-like shapes dominated the catwalk complete. Besides this also ruffles capes, fur-adorned sleeves and organza covered gowns.

The color palette contains inky black, scarlet red, powder pink and ivory. This together gives dramatic silhouettest hat were more evening wear than ready-to-wear. But that is what we see most of the time from McQueen.

Barbell shaped belts and sleek visors in techno silver brought a futuristic vibe to the designs. Burton injected some romantic things to give the silhouettes a feminine look.
