Every year I love to go to the fashionshow from the students from ArtEZ in Arnhem. During this catwalkshow 20 students showed their graduation collection. The show took place at an amazing location, an Industrial Park called Kleefse Waard Arnhem. This location gives the show an extra touch and vibe.
This year the show was really amazing and I was impressed by the talent. While I was photographing I was very focused on everything I didn’t want to miss any detail. You can see so much that I wanted to see the show again.
The show started with three collection from the first, second and thirth years at the fashion academy. After that the show with the graduation collections started. I fall in love with the collections from Peet Dullaert (give me that square sunglasses!!), Maaike Bles (look at the orange dots, love this small detail), Eefje Wijnings (the large hat is amazing), Niels Tol (he had a lot of details in his collection), Renee Bonte (she mix old trends with each other), Maxime Cartens (the plastic details makes this collection very special), Yoram Tomasowa (the sharp details in this collection give the feminine side a new perspective), Jef Montes (his models wore lovely hats) and Melanie Bomans (the fabrics that she is using are amazing). The other designers are also amazing. Their names are; Inge van de Ven, Gijsje Ribbens, Ben Dekker, Thom Barends, Luuk Varkevisser, Hendrickje Schimmel, Jody de Lange, Anne Kluytenaar, Esther Kruyer, Anouk Klerks and Julian Stips.
It was a very special show for me and I am so happy that I saw all these amazing collections. It has a touch of fashion and art. Just what I like about fashion. I saw some items that I would love to wear too. All the twenty designers did an amazing job and I hope that we see some of them back at the Fashion Weeks. Four designers are nominated for the Frans Molenaar price. So I think that they have done a great job and we can be proud of them.
You can take a look at my Facebook page to see more photos, because I took to many photos to show you in one time. Next year there will be a catwalkshow again and I would like to recommend anyone to go there. It is great to see the amount of talent that we have in the Netherlands. I want to thank Jan Schoon and Martijn den Boer (from PR agency Schoon Den Boer) for the invitation.
