Lanvin Ready To Wear Spring 2013

One of the designers that I really like is Alber Elbaz from Lanvin. After his showstopping “Take a look at me now” moment at his 10th anniversary show last season, the question really was: ‘What’s next?’ There was a renewed agenda. He said: ‘A new start. I start again.’

In many ways we went back to school in the shape of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, for Elbaz. That seat of classicism and the salon in French art was the venue for the spring show. I think it wasn’t simple to create a pretty, historic setting.

I love the shapes of these outfits and it shows the classic beauty. Like always it is a great collection and hopefully we will see this collection in stores like Zara.
