This Is Koos

When designers give their labels a unique and fun name you score extra points! Just because I love to be curious about the brand name and want to know more about the label itself.

Today I want to talk about the brand, “This is Koos”. Koos was born in Amsterdam, at the kitchen table between a cup of coffee and a stack of sketches. Koos is the child of a dream that lasted for nearly twenty years. It is inspired by Japan and grounded in the Netherlands. The motto was to make something simple to do something different. I really see this back in the collection.

The items are inspired by moments, like art, literature, music and nature. Colors are like nature and I love the fact that they make their collections in natural colors.
